Inevitably, our life has been dependent on technologies not in the far future such as artificial-machine intelligence, smart living, bio-wearables, etc.

We are part of the information, communication, and technology (ICT) society. The point at issue is, are we falling behind, surviving, or innovating in this society?

Vision

To be superior and esteemed study program at the National level ( 2022 ), Asian Region (2027), and International (2032) in the Computer Systems Engineering that focus on communication technology & networks, embedded systems, and interaction & experience in the progress of science and technology, the establishment and growing innovative business through education, research, and training for development and welfare of Indonesian.

  • To provide high quality education of science and technology, especially in Computer Systems Engineering to develop business leaders and professionals in their excellent field, dignified, ethical, and respect the diversity and contribute to the development of the nation and Indonesia.

Smart Systems Engineer

A Smart Systems Engineer is responsible for designing intelligent digital systems tailored to specific applications. This role is highly significant and востреб in a wide range of industries. Beyond IT companies, in today’s digital era smart systems engineers collaborate with domain experts to develop solutions such as biomedical instruments, smart buildings and homes, automotive systems, smart devices, wearables, and more.

Computer Systems Engineer / Analyst

This role focuses on designing and analyzing computer systems. While similar to a Smart Systems Engineer, the scope is broader and not limited to intelligent systems alone, encompassing general computer system analysis. Professionals in this role are found across various industries.

Network Engineer / Architect

A Network Engineer or Architect designs, manages, and maintains computer networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and coordination. This role underpins critical infrastructures such as supercomputers and cellular networks, which are essential in the digital age.

AI / Machine Learning Engineer

AI and Machine Learning Engineers develop practical artificial intelligence solutions for diverse industries. Their challenge is to continuously enhance AI capabilities and embed them into valuable products for end users, such as virtual assistants and emerging VR/AR technologies.

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

A BI Developer bridges business needs and technical solutions by developing and managing BI systems, analyzing data, and formulating strategies based on insights derived from information. In addition to technical and programming expertise, BI Developers must possess strong business acumen. In today’s data-driven world, where information is predominantly presented as digital data, BI Developers play a key role in shaping business direction and decision-making.

The program offers three streams: Communications & Networks, Smart Embedded Systems, and Artificial Intelligence, all of which are enriched with a strong emphasis on business and innovation in line with the vision of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.

Embedded Software Programmer
Professionals in this role possess strong competencies in both hardware engineering and software development. Typical applications include factory and industrial automation systems.

Computer Systems Engineer
Responsible for designing computer-based intelligent products and systems, such as smart homes and smart appliances.

Computer Network Expert
Specialists who study, design, and manage computer networking systems to ensure connectivity and coordination. Applications include cellular networks and high-performance computing systems, such as supercomputers.
