In article number 2400298, Lina Jaya Diguna, Muhammad Danang Birowosuto, and co-workers introduce CsCu2I3 scintillators synthesized using nanocrystals embedded in a polydimethylsiloxane matrix. These scintillators demonstrate exceptional performance, including a fast decay time of 3.55 ns, an energy resolution of 13%, and a light yield of 2 ph keV–1. This fabrication method enables the production of bulk-volume scintillators, making them ideal for X-ray and γ-ray photon-counting imaging applications. Furthermore, their scintillation properties are comparable to those of BZA2PbBr4, which achieves photon-counting computed tomography with a rate of about 20 mega counts per second per pixel.
