The Diktiristek Award 2023, an annual event recognizing achievements in higher education, research, and technology, was successfully held on the evening of Wednesday (December 13, 2023). Among the recipients of this prestigious award was Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. On this occasion, Prasmul received the Bronze Winner in the Research, Technology, and Community Service Award category, specifically in the Community Service subcategory for Medium/Primary Cluster Institutions with the Highest Community Service Score for 2020–2022. The award was accepted by Prof. Agus W Soehadi Ph.D., the Vice-Rector for Learning, at the Sheraton Hotel, Gandaria City.

The event presented nearly 500 awards to public and private universities, Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti), industry partners, ministries/agencies, journalists, and media. “As a form of appreciation, in 2023, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, through the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, will present awards at the Diktiristek Award 2023 event to individuals who have worked exceptionally in supporting the realization of higher education transformation for the advancement of Indonesia,” said the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Suharti.

The dedication of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya to community service is exemplified, among other things, through the Community Development program held annually. This program invites fifth-semester students to engage in live-in activities to interact directly with communities to develop local micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). Thus far, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya has successfully sent thousands of students to empower hundreds of UMKMs in Cianjur and Kuningan, West Java.
