As part of compliance with Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation no. 30 of 2021 regarding the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya conducted the selection of the UPM Sexual Harassment Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS) from August to September 2023. The selection process was carried out by the Satgas PPKS Selection Committee, which reviewed applications and conducted interviews with prospective Satgas PPKS members. Each prospective Satgas PPKS member was interviewed by 2 committee members following the prepared interview guidelines.
Atmosphere during the interview of UPM Satgas PPKS Candidates
After the interview period, the Selection Committee held a meeting to discuss the results and recommend the names of prospective UPM Satgas PPKS members who were deemed suitable and capable of contributing to the prevention and handling of sexual violence within the Universitas Prasetiya Mulya community. The recommended names of the selected Satgas PPKS UPM members were submitted to the Vice Rector III and the Rector of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. Subsequently, these names were approved and appointed by the Rector as the UPM Satgas PPKS for the 2023 – 2025 working period.
The selected members of the UPM Satgas PPKS will carry out their duties to raise awareness about sexual harassment prevention and handle reports of sexual violence cases within the Universitas Prasetiya Mulya community. The UPM Satgas PPKS consists of 15 members, including 3 Faculty Members, 4 Professional Staff, and 8 Universitas Prasetiya Mulya students. The Chair of Satgas PPKS is led by Mrs. Kartika Paramita, LL.M., from the Faculty Member category, and the Secretary of Satgas PPKS is Mrs. Ikrakhansa Thifal, M.Psi., Psychologist, from the Professional Staff category.
