Universitas Prasetiya Mulya is relentlessly shaping the bright future of the younger generation by organizing a hybrid Open House event at the BSD Campus and through Zoom on Saturday, October 21. This event invited high school students and their parents to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of university life and the future of Prasmul students through various mediums, such as student and alumni sharing sessions, campus tours, business showcases, and program consultations.
“After experiencing 300 years of industrialization, there are many challenges we need to address,” said Prof. Dr. Djisman S. Simandjuntak, the Rector of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, during his welcome speech at the S1 Prasmul Open House.
“That’s why, to thrive in the future, the mainstay is productivity, relying on technological advancement, entrepreneurship, and excellent management.”
Prof. Dr. Djisman S. Simandjuntak envisions that in the future, the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields will be in high demand.
“We need to move towards STEM. STEM will undoubtedly provide prosperity if supported by innovative entrepreneurs and outstanding and creative management professionals.”
After introducing Prasmul to the participants, the event continued with Sharing Sessions from IISMA Awardees Vanessa Mirta and Portia Bellezza, and Florentina Sugianto, Head of Delegates at Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Cornelia Metta Devi, Co-founder and CFO at EVORIA Event Orchestrator, also joined to share her experiences as a Prasmul alumna.
