Universitas Prasetiya Mulya reaffirms its commitment to developing the field of education for the nation’s future generation through a collaboration with JEI University South Korea.
Previously, Universitas Prasetiya Mulyaand JEI University South Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding and officially launched their collaboration ceremonially on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the BSD Campus. Several forms of collaboration have been agreed upon, including the following:
The ceremonial event marking the collaboration was attended by Dr. Nam Sik Lee, President of JEI University, and Dr. Ida Juda Widjojo, Vice-Rector for External Relations and Communication Technology at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. “JEI University is solid in engineering, so I think we have found a good match, and I really hope we can do something together,” said Dr. Ida in her speech.
In the memorandum of understanding, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya and JEI University mention several collaboration forms expected to expand educational opportunities for individuals in Indonesia and South Korea. “We would like to create an experience program. So, if students come to Korea, they can work in different locations and experience realistic problems. Through that kind of experience, students can suggest a certain output for the company,” said Dr. Nam Sik Lee.
Both Universitas Prasetiya Mulya and JEI University have high hopes for this collaboration, which has the potential to maximize the interests and talents of young people and promote the movement of knowledge nationally and globally.
