Competing against students from top universities in Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, and Turkey, our students were challenged to compose an equity research paper to analyze stock trends and give recommendations based on their findings. These then were presented in front of capital market practitioners.

2nd place winner in the Digipreneurfest Business Case Competition

The Digipreneurfest Business Case Competition raised the issue of “Gen Z’s Contribution in Increasing the Digitization of MSMEs in Indonesia.” It was a national-level competition organized by the AI4impact institution. 3 students from our S1 Finance and Banking 2020 study program competed with other teams from well-known universities in Indonesia, namely the Universitas Islam Indonesia (1st place winner) and Institut Teknologi Bandung(3rd place winner).

5th place winner in Business Model Canvas: The 11th Ui Studentpreneurs

In this national-level competition, the top 10 groups were selected to receive training from mentors and to present their own group’s product ideas. Our SBE Team innovated a beverage product, ​​So-Cha, a health-and-beauty-kombucha drink made from “imperfect” fruits (fruits that are suitable for consumption, but do not have a perfect appearance). The So-Cha idea was created to fulfill the Sustainable Development Goals, or what is commonly recognized as the SDGs; specifically SDG2 (ending hunger) and SDG12 (responsible consumption and production).

This event was organized by Universitas Indonesia. On this occasion, a real business case study on the topic of “Paragon Corp: Innovation for the Greater Good Indonesia” was raised. 69 teams from universities all over Indonesia attended this prestigious event.

1st place winner in the OCBC NISP Ventura National Investment

In this national-level competition organized by OCBC NISP Ventura, participants were invited to analyze and make projections on the potential of future industries. Aside from that, by acting as venture capitalists, participants were required to provide solutions and final decisions regarding their analysis.

1st place winner in National Economic Innovation 3.0 Business Plan Competition

The National Economic Innovation 3.0 Business Plan Competition” was a startup business idea competition that was organized by Universitas Pasundan. In this competition, a student from Universitas Prasetiya Mulya with 2 colleagues from Universitas Indonesia and Universitas Udayana collaborated and created a tourism platform, called JalanKuy!. This platform creates opportunities for local tour guides to be connected directly with local and foreign tourists who are in need to explore tourism locations.

2nd place winner in the 18th Mist International Market Research Paper And Conference

The theme “The Flight to Purpose: Positioning Through Purpose-Driven Actions to Conquer Growth Opportunities” was highlighted in this international-level competition. Prasmul’s students competed with other teams from Universitas Indonesia, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Hague University of Applied Sciences Germany, Asia Pacific University Japan, and Victoria University of Wellington Australia.

3rd place winner in Management Competition 2022

Universitas Mercu Buana organized this event and it raised the theme “Increasing the Development of Creativity and Innovation As a Strategic Solution in Business through Digital Transformation”. Participating teams were given tasks to compose a proposal to create innovations for public service. The team from Prasmul came up with a brilliant idea called e-Warga. e-Warga is an all-in-one platform that makes it convenient for Indonesian citizens to pay various basic bills such as taxes, PDAM, PLN, and others.

In this competition, participants were asked to work in teams and solve a series of business challenges in a virtual business. Then, these teams needed to present their analysis during the presentation sessions.

1st place winner in the Investment Research Competition 2022

In the competition that was organized by Universitas Gajah Mada, Prasmul’s students competed with other teams from Universitas Indonesia (2nd place winner), Universitas Negeri Semarang (3rd place winner), and many other well-known universities in Indonesia. In this event, participants were asked to conduct thorough research on issuers in TLKM companies. Those researches needed to cover all fundamental and technical aspects. Participants also needed to share valuations and recommendations.
