The property business is far from fading, still rich with opportunities for innovation. Prasetiya Mulya Property Club (PMPC) proved this by organizing the International Business Gala and Conference last Tuesday (21/11) at the BSD Campus, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.

The event began with speeches from Prof. Djisman S. Simandjuntak, the Rector of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, and the Founder of PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya, Tbk., Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, B.B.A., M.B.A.

The gala and conference were divided into three sessions covering different topics: Personal Branding for Career Advancement by Operation Director Traderhub Patrick Cheung and CFP Finansialku Christie Tania; Sales Strategy and Ethics Class by Cofounder Snappin Devin Cahaya and GM of Sales Trinity Land Celly Ang; and the Opportunities in Property Business and Innovation presented by Founder Folk Group Bong Chandra.

Patrick Cheung illustrated personal branding with an auction story. There was a man who bought a small box at a quite high price. As it turned out, the box was made of wood from a tree that was hundreds, even thousands of years old. By acquiring the box and stepping onto the stage, the man had already made his name known and recognized by the “big” people in the auction.

“And that story teaches me why personal branding can make us change our lives. Not just our career,” explained Patrick Cheung. Devin Cahaya agreed with the statement about the importance of branding.

“The most important thing in property development is actually branding and marketing. Why? Because if we can successfully market the property, we can get funding, we can hire the best consultants, the best property manager, the best designer.”
