Student Ambassador

In 2023, the first batch of AACSB Student Ambassadors was established by the SBE Dean’s Office. This initiative was launched to introduce international accreditation to students across various academic levels. The AACSB Student Ambassadors were selected from diverse undergraduate and postgraduate programs within the School of Business and Economics.

In preparation for the AACSB Peer Review Team (PRT) visit in September 2025, the SBE Quality Assurance Unit (UPM), in collaboration with the Undergraduate Student Development and Quality Enhancement Unit (Katbang), conducted an open recruitment process for AACSB Student Ambassadors among active SBE students. Following a selection process, five undergraduate students were appointed as AACSB Student Ambassadors.

The Student Ambassador program was established to increase awareness among Universitas Prasetiya Mulya (Prasmul) students regarding international accreditation through a variety of engagement initiatives, including social media campaigns. In addition to online outreach, awareness campaigns were also conducted through direct student engagement activities, such as on-campus question-and-answer sessions and online quizzes related to AACSB accreditation. Furthermore, one of the AACSB Student Ambassadors was appointed as a Liaison Officer (L.O.) for the AACSB Peer Review Team during the accreditation visit.
